Building Kid’s Faith, One Gospel Story at a Time

RS Kids Ministry exists to glorify God

by gathering children in worship

through singing, reading Scripture, and prayer

by growing children in their knowledge of the Spirit

through teaching children how to study, memorize the Bible and pray

by going into the world to both experience and share the story of redemption

through social gatherings, community outreach, and service opportunities.

RS Kids Ministry seeks to support what is happening in your home. If your family is new to discipleship – reading the Word, praying, talking about how God is moving in your lives – RS Kids Ministry wants to be a resource for you, a place where you can find guidance and encouragement. If your family has discipleship practices already in place, RS Kids Ministry wants to be a place where your child can share and model their experiences and knowledge with their peers and teachers.

Nursery and Toddler

You need to know your children are safe and cared for while you attend worship services. Our background checked and friendly volunteers would love to do that for you! Children’s relationships begin with trust and love and we want to offer a space to offer just that as they learn about the Gospel and the world around them.

Nursery Care is available for 6 months - 2 years during our Sunday morning service each week.

6 months -2 years

Preschool

Our Preschool Class is geared to help our little learners embrace the Gospel Story through short Bible lessons, simple Bible memory, songs and crafts to engage all their God-given senses in learning about their world that God made!

A Preschool Class is available during our Sunday morning service each week.

3 years - preK

Elementary

RS Elementary Kids are learning stories from the New Testament, meeting Jesus as the promised babe, as a child, as a teacher, and as the Christ. They will also journey with the disciples and the early church; read Paul’s letters, learn of the first martyrs, and celebrate the hope of eternal life found in salvation through Jesus Christ.

Understanding how an individual story relates to God’s larger plan of redemption is the most important part of our lessons. This understanding comes through the combination of Bible teaching, object lessons, discussion in breakout groups, and conversations at home.

A Kids Class is available during our Sunday morning service each week.

K-2nd and 3rd -5th

We work to make our children’s ministry welcoming to all children. If your child requires disability accommodations or special needs care we will work with a volunteer to help care for their specific needs. Please contact our team at [contact] to set this up. Please know that all are welcome to worship with us in our morning Sunday gatherings!
